The Silverdale Lions Parade is a community event that has been going on since 1973 & draws thousands of community members each year to attend! The parade takes place on the Saturday of Silverdale Whaling Days Festival. Join as well before the parade for the 43rd Whale of a Run put on by Kitsap Running. Afterwards, at the Thunderbird Arena at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds is the Kitsap Destruction Derby Association Whaling Days Race that starts at 4:30 pm with special event tow behind race & Big Car Derby, along with the Whaling Days Festival with street fair and entertainment.
